AS2: Task 3 - Requirements for a production - DONE

Why do I need to gather information for my practical production? 

Gathering information for my practical production would mean that I will be a step further in terms of knowing everything I need to know and do. Finding out this type of information would save me time because when doing the production, I know that information is set out, structured and ready for me to use when ready which speeds up the process for not only the production but actually creating the advertisement I am trying to achieve.

What equipment am I going to need?
For my advert, I am only going to need a small number of equipments such as a digital camera Nikon, p500 and a tripod. I don't need any thing more than that to film my advert.

Where am I going to get the equipment?
 I am going to get the equipment I need from my media department, these are where all technical equipments are kept safely.

How much will it cost?
Free.

Filming locations:
The location of where I am going to film my advert is in Robert Clack upper school. We chose this place to film our advert because we saw that it was a very big school which had plenty of space and rooms to go into. What we wanted was a drama studio and we got exactly that from this school. The studio had exactly what we need, it was spacious, it was a dark room and had lights that we could adjust to how we wanted it. The disadvantage of filming in Robert Clack upper school was that because we will be around children that need to go to their lessons, the bell and fire alarms that may occur unexpectedly, we needed silence and it may be difficult to receive that from a place like this. However, the advantage of filming here is the fact that the studio we will be in has the right amount of lighting.

Actors:
As the advert is a mascara advertisement it would only make sense to use a female as it is a feminine product and known to be used by women a lot. We already know people who are pleased with contributing to our advert and these very people are involved in our advert, so no money needs to be spent on getting actors.

Costumes and Props:
Our actress in our advert does not require any specific type of clothing so she can dress up in clothing which she desires, however clothing will need to be normal and nothing extraordinary. Because of this no money needs to be spent on costumes only on props which is the mascara product. This will come to a cost between £5-£10.
