Programme profiles

For instance, Eastenders is shown at a particular time which is either 7:30-8pm or 8:00-8:30pm and their reason for showing the programme at this time is because they know once the day is done and all the workers are in their homes, all they'll want to do is relax and watch Tv. This reason states that they have analysed their audience, making the cost of their programme more expensive as more people are wanting to watch it.

What is a rate card?

A rate card is a document which includes a printed list of rates charged by print and broadcast media. These rate are usually a guide because of the actual charges according to the bargaining power of the advertiser.

However, currently there are very few sits fetching their prices listed on their rate cards, and negotiations gradually begin less than the price listed. The supple demand for a specific audience is directly tied to the stability of the price.
